Information on the right of withdrawal for consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside their trade, business or profession.

We grant consumers a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions. This right of withdrawal applies, in principle, to orders placed by consumers resident in Switzerland, the European Union or the EEA, unless mandatory national provisions provide otherwise.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

by means of a clear declaration (for example a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods which was not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functioning.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to contracts for:

• goods that are not prefabricated and for their production an individual selection or decision by you is important, or that are clearly tailored to your personal needs. This may in particular include skis where bindings have been drilled, mounted and adjusted according to your specifications;

• goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal was removed after delivery;

• goods which, after delivery, were inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature.

 

Other statutory exclusions of the right of withdrawal remain unaffected.
